Harris’ Song of the Week: Atari by Lucky Boys Confusion

This weeks song of the week may seem random. It is. In honor of the editor of The Truth About Music I am (for the first time), dedicating a song of the week to him. A friend of a long time, I am in Spokane, WA for Edmund O’Neill‘s wedding. Five years ago we first connected over “Commitment,” the bands second full length (and best) album.

Although Lucky Boys Confusion is on an indefinite hiatus they are worth your time. One of the things this band does great is harmonize. They have amazing harmonies right with flavor and taste. The unique style they perform mixes reggae, punk rock and pop into a seamless blend. Aside from being Edmunds favorite song, “Atari” does a great job of both telling a story and setting the era of said story.

It is with great pleasure that I dedicate this weeks song of the week to our trusted copy chief!!
