The Truth About Music

Lyrics of the Moment

Every so often I am listening to a song and just feel the need to share some lyrics with everyone. Yellowcard, a generally under rated band has put out three solid albums in their main stream careers. Most people don’t know much passed Ocean Avenue but track four off of “Lights and Sound,” the bands 2006 release contains some of my favorite lyrics of all time.

During the chorus Ryan Key sings: “I’ve been up late writing books, All about heroes and crooks, one of them saves you from this, the other one steals you and then, sure things fall, and all sure things fall.”

There’s something about those lyrics that make me think, I know exactly what he’s talking about. Give the song a listen and let me know what you think of the song.
