Synth Rockers Magic Man To Join Sir Sly For East Coast Shows, Will Play CMJ

Since the release of their 2010 indie release Real Life Color, Boston-based quintet Magic Man have created a slow, steady buzz with their brand of synth rock, an exuberant cocktail of big hooks, catchy melodies, bright electronic effects and lean, rhythmic guitars. Now the band, who recently joined the Walk The Moon for a set of tour dates, will play supporting act for Sir Sly on a string of east coast dates, as well as play at this year’s CMJ Festival in New York City. No doubt Magic Man will trot out tracks from their latest release You Are Here for the upcoming shows. Produced by Alex Aldi (Holy Ghost!, Passion Pit), the five-track EP is loaded with rafter-raising earworms like “Paris ” and “Every Day.”
