Gold Fields Announce Debut North American Tour Dates

Aussie quintet Gold Fields have announced the dates for their virgin North American road trek.

The 30-date tour kicks off next Friday, August 31st at the Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver, and includes stops in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Dallas and New Orleans before wrapping up with a show at Brooklyn Bowl in NYC on October 12.

While the band has crissed crossed the U.S. before, with performances at SXSW, CMJ, Culture Collide, and Fun Fun Fun Fest 2013, and opened for acts like St. Lucia and Diamond Rings, this will be their first headlining tour, with Rush Midnight coming along as co-headliners. The tour is in support of Gold Fields’ debut album Black Sun, a collection of shimmering pop/rock gems like “Dark Again” and “Tree House,” featuring infectious melodies matched with melancholy lyrics.
