Gold Fields are making a good case for as the go-to band for feel-good dance-rock, as “You”re Still Gone,” the latest single from their debut album Black Sun, proves. “You”re Still Gone,”  features what is quickly becoming the group”s trademark blend of  pristine pop vocals, somber piano chords, sunny guitar licks and bombastic, tribal-influenced drums. Electro effects put the cherry on the sundae though,  with synths flickering in the background, before soaring to dizzying heights in the chorus. The track seems tailor made for massive summer festival crowd sing-a-longs.  Listen to “You”re Still Gone” here.

Speaking of live gigs, Gold Fields is also running a Twitter contest offering two pairs of tickets to winners in each city they visit. Enter the contest here, and view the band”s tour dates below.
