Wu-Tang Clan will have a new album ready for release in July, with the eight-man rap crew also announcing  short tour with a string of festival dates. Entitled A Better Tomorrow, the album will be the group”s first since 2007″s 8 Diagrams. The clan has collaborated in the six intervening years though, with members Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and U-God contributing to the soundtrack for producer RZA”s directorial debut Man With The Iron Fists.

Wu-Tang Clan”s tour will start this weekend at Coachella, with another performance scheduled at the festival for April 21, as well as performances at Bonnaroo and London”s O2 Academy. With 2013 marking the 20th anniversary of the group”s classic debut Enter The Wu: 36 Chambers,  RZA told Rolling Stone last November he”d be if the group could have a full-on reunion.

“If the Wu-Tang Clan ever wanna come back together – and next year will be our 20th year anniversary – I”d love for it to be under

my leadership and guidance, because I think I”ve grown so much as a man and as an artist that I would know how to drive the ship to the proper location,” RZA said. “I would love to do that again.”
