Teenage Kicks Release "Middle Of The Night" Video

Teenage Kicks detail a one night stand in the video for their latest single, the catchy crunchy rocker “Middle Of The Night.” Albeit a one night stand that includes arty angles and short bursts of impromptu ballet.

“Middle Of The Night” comes from the quintet”s latest release, Be On My Side. The six-song EP chocked full of huge guitars, stadium-sized drums and harmonies galore, like the arena-ready “Setting Son” and the bluesier, barroom rock of “I Get What You Give.”

If you need more than an EP”s worth to get your fix, the band has unveiled the Teenage Kicks Singles Club, a service that delivers two new songs to subscribers every few months. ”It”s a way for us to get our music out to our fans without them having to wait however long for our albums to come out,” frontman Peter Van Helvoort said.

“We”ve got so many songs in the archives, some of which we”ve been playing for years, but they just haven”t shown up on our albums. So instead of letting them fade into obscurity, we wanted to share them all with whoever wants to listen to them, for free.”

Teenage Kicks will also be in Austin performing at SXSW on March 16. Watch the “Middle of The Night” video below.
