Veteran road warriors My Morning Jacket will put the cap on a busy year with a three-night stand at a historic theater in Port Chester, NY. Get more details after the jump.
The trio of shows, set to place December 27-29th, take place at The Capitol Theatre. Recently reopened, the venue once hosted rock icons like David Bowie, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones. The Capitol Theatre performances will be a continuation of the band’s Spontaneous Curation Series, meaning no songs will be repeated for each show. Every ticket holder will also receive a complimentary download delivered after each performance.
Two days later, My Morning will perform a New Year’s Eve show at Agganis Arena in Boston, bringing along the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band for support. However, the performance won’t be part of the curation series in effort to keep fans on their toes.
Pre-sale tickets for all four shows will be available to the band’s fan club Roll Call Wednesday at mymornngjacket.com. Tickets for Capitol Theater will go on sale to the general public, Friday at 10am EST via ticketfly.com. Tickets for Agganis Arena will be available to the general public, Friday at 12 noon via ticketmaster.com.
