New Music: Ticktockman “Expose of New Orleans”

Seattle rockers Ticktockman have unveiled another track from their upcoming self-titled¬†debut. “Expose of New Orleans,” an evocative cut that begins¬†with a Latin groove before¬†the band launches into its trademark “punch you in the¬†gut” sound.¬†In the words of frontman Ryan Van Wieringen, the song “deals with my obsession with the JFK assassination and some of the events that took place around it.¬† It’d be nice if we were all a little more open minded and didn’t believe everything was always so cut and dry. Just to explore all the possibilities before we believe what we’re told and close the door.”¬† He also adds, “We could imagine Lil‚Äô Wayne sampling this song.” See how accurate that last statement is¬†by taking a listen¬†below.
