They Might Be Giants Announce New Album, Tour Dates

While They Might Be Giants latest album, the return-to-rock opus  Join Us, may have been released this past summer,  the group has decided to give fans the gift of new music twice this year with another album, set to drop next month.Slated for a November 1 release, TMBG’s new album, entitled Album Raises New and Troubling Questions, will contain new tracks that didn’t make it on Join Us, as well as rare and unreleased songs. The album will come out via Amazon and iTunes through Idlewild Recordings.

 A live version of “Cloisonne,” only previously heard on the song’s official video, a remix of “You Probably Get That A Lot” by Elephant Too and the band’s version of “Tubthumping,” performed on The Onion AV Club’s “Undercover Series” will also be on the album.  Fans who download a copy of Troubling Questions from TMBG’s official site will get a pdf contain full images and instructions on how to build your own life sized paper monster hearse, as well as a 5 free video bonus. The band also premiere a remix of Can’t Keep Johnny Down” HERE.
