"Exposing New Music To The Blog-Reading Masses"

Midnight Magic Release Free EP

Brooklyn-based disco revivalists Midnight Magic seek to spread Saturday night fever to music fans far and wide with the release of their new EP entitled Scion A/V Presents: MIDNIGHT MAGIC – What The Eyes Can’t See.

The five-song EP is a mix of electro, disco, funk and soul designed to further the nine-piece ensemble’s mission to become the 21st century’s answer to Donna Summer and George Clinton. Comprised ex-Hercules and Love Affair members Carter Yatusake, Morgan Wiley and W. Andrew Raposo, as well as the powerhouse vocals of Tiffany Roth and other members Caito Sanchez, Nick Roseboro, Max Goldman, Jason Disu and Andrew Frawley, Midnight Magic got the masses on the dance floor this summer with the intergalactic 12″ “Beam Me Up.” Click HERE to download What The Eyes Can’t See.

The band also released a new video for “Calling Out,” a spoof of the wacky symbolism and comic melodrama of early 80′s era music videos that provides a humorous contrast to the track’s haunting  synths, grinding bass and Roth’s ethereal vocals. Watch the video and view Midnight Magic’s tour dates below.
