Red Hot Chili Peppers will drop their tenth studio album on August 30, according to an announcement via the band’s official site. The new disc, entitled I’m With You, is the band’s first since 2006′s Stadium Arcadand was produced with longtime collaborator Rick Rubin.

I’m With You will also be the first RHCP record to feature new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, after former axeman John Frusciante split amicably with the band back in 2008.¬† Frontman Anthony Kiedis told Spin the long break was rejuvenating for the band, with Flea hooking up with Radiohead’s Tom Yorke for a side project, drummer Chad Smith recording and touring with his own supergroup Chickenfoot and Kiedis taking time out to be a father to his child.

“I think that during the writing of this record I have been the most open-minded and refreshed than I have been in a long time,” Kiedis¬† said. “I guess that comes from a much-needed hiatus and becoming a father.”
